About Us

We are a non-profit organisation and we are the largest provider of affordable Jewish self-care accommodation in Australia. All Board Members are volunteers.

We realise that it takes tremendous courage at a certain age to move from your home, where you have lived for many years. Our residents have described their reasons for this move. Maybe the family home has become too big and empty or a partner has died. Life may have become lonely or you are a new migrant to Sydney. You may have heard that old friends are already living in the village. Once you have moved in you will find yourself part of a new and embracing community.

The responsibilities for repairs and maintenance are no longer a concern as the onsite caretakers are available 24/7 for assistance and advice. They are also there if emergency health issues should arise.

Both our villages offer entertainment and activities for everyone. B’nai B’rith Units have meetings and guest speakers to which you are welcome. The residents’ committees organise movie nights, games afternoons and musical entertainment with afternoon tea often provided. Jewish festivals are often celebrated. The library is available for your enjoyment.

In short, village life offers a pleasant communal social life or for those who simply wish to live in a secure Jewish environment.

I made the move to Kadimah Gardens...and now I’m very happy, living in a lovely unit among nice Jewish People
