The year ended 30 June 2021 has witnessed the unprecedented impact of the Covid global pandemic with many businesses, including those in the retirement sector, severely affected.

In contrast, B'nai B'rith Retirement Villages Limited made a surplus of $397,541, a significant increase on our 2020 performance of $130,889. 

Our cash and financial holdings remained steady as did our net asset position. Our loan was also reduced to a token $50,000 from the initial $9,000,000 raised to enable the development of Guilfoyle Gardens, which is now fully occupied. We continue to be in a strong financial position to meet our obligations and withstand the uncertainty that we are still exposed to while living with Covid.

BBRV continues to support residents who are experiencing financial stress. This support for the year ended 30 June 2021 exceeded $167,000 up from the $147,000 in 2020.

BBRV continues to be in a solid financial position enabling it to continue improving our villages to the benefit of the residents, their families and the broader community.
