FOR INDEPENDENT JEWISH RETIREES

Costs and Licensing Information

Our licensing structures are designed to reflect our mission of providing affordable accommodation to Jewish seniors. We have three types of apartments in our villages. These are nominated as: Standard, Superior, and Premium. The level of finishes and amenities are consistent across all three types of apartments with the major variance associated with apartment size. These may be viewed by clicking here, or by making an appointment with our village manager. Contact us here.

Understanding Our Costs

The cost of residency is dependent on your choice of village: the unit type, your age and your personal circumstances. Our Village Managers can provide you a comprehensive breakdown of the cost of residency following your interview.

Residency Costs At Princess Gardens

Accommodation at Princess Gardens at this time is only available on the basis of an upfront licence fee. This fee is determined by your age and/or your choice of apartment. Residents receive a refund of a proportion of their licence fee on deciding to exit the village. The refund amount is determined on your entry into the village and is dependent on the type of licence fee option you select.

In addition to the one-off licence fee, residents pay a nominal monthly maintenance charge – a maintenance charge base rate that’s fixed upon your entry to the village. This is reviewed annually with increases generally aligned with pension rate movements.

Residency based on a monthly licence fee arrangement is not available in this village.

Residency Costs At Guilfoyle Gardens

Accommodation at Guilfoyle Gardens is only available on the basis of an upfront licence fee. This fee is determined by your choice of an apartment in the village. Residents receive a refund of a proportion of their licence fee on deciding to exit the village. The refund amount is determined on your entry into the village.

In addition to the one-off licence fee, residents pay a nominal monthly maintenance charge – a maintenance charge base rate that’s fixed upon your entry to the village. This is reviewed annually, with increases generally aligned with pension rate movements.

Residency Costs At Kadimah Gardens

Kadimah Gardens operates on the basis of monthly licences only. This is a concept much like renting. You are required to pay an all-inclusive monthly fee, according to your choice of apartment. There is no age requirement for prospective residents.

How Cost Increases Are Calculated

Increases to monthly charges are fixed in line with movements in the pension rate. Increases are applied annually. License fees are reviewed annually. Residents are advised in October of proposed cost increases that come into effect from 1 January each year.
